Vishnu Maharaj is the Liquidator and Business Rescue Practitioner. He has extensive experience in the field. He works closely with individuals that require our services and renders expert advice on the best course of action.  He is very objective and an excellent mediator between debtors and creditors ensuring fairness to all parties concerned with the best possible outcomes for all. Over the years, he has been involved in a range of simple and complex matters that has gained him the wealth of knowledge that he now possesses and no task is too difficult for him to take on. He is strong willed and goes the extra mile to ensure that the liquidation/sequestration/business rescue process runs as smoothly and effortlessly as possible. He works with a diligent team and together they are able to undertake work in this field of any magnitude. In addition to being a Liquidator and Business Rescue Practitioner, he has a number of other qualifications under his belt. He is also qualified in the field of Accounting, Taxation and Auditing and has run a very successful accounting practice prior to him getting into the Insolvency field. His accounting background provides him with a unique perspective which makes him a force to be reckoned with in the Insolvency industry. 

Keshni Maharaj

Head of VM Insolvency Practitioners Inc

Keshni Maharaj is the Senior Manager and is the head of the VM Insolvency Team. She has a wealth of experience having worked as a commercial litigation attorney for a large multi- national firm for many years. She handles all the legal aspects surrounding insolvency and business rescue. In addition, she attends to Trust Registrations, drafting of Wills, winding up of deceased estates, rescissions of judgments and various other tasks. She wears many other hats in our business. She is the Group Legal Manager, Head of HR and the Property Portfolio Manager for VM Group of Companies. She also sits on the Steering Committee with Vishnu Maharaj and various other individuals for the VM Group.

Femhida Khan

Insolvency manager

Femhida Khan is an Insolvency Manager and is fully qualified in this regard. She is well known in the industry and has many years of experience and this has given her an impeccable understanding of liquidations, insolvency and business rescue. She is directly involved in the administration of the insolvent estates from inception to finalisation and is highly skilled in this regard.  She is meticulous and efficient and ensures that all matters are handled expeditiously and professionally. She is assisted by the Insolvency Administrators and together they ensure that all matters are handled diligently.

Nonkosi  Nzimase

Insolvency & business rescue assistant

Nonkosi Nzimase is an Insolvency Administrator. She has been in the insolvency field for several years and is therefore very experienced. She is involved in the insolvency administration process from beginning to end under the guidance of the Insolvency Manager. She is skilled in handling Creditors meetings. She also liaises and attends at the Masters offices to track progress on all estates and ensures that all matters are proceeding along timeously.  In addition, she also assists in the drafting of Wills, Trust Registrations and winding up of deceased estates under the guidance of the Head of the Department.

Kimolia Moodley

Insolvency & business rescue assistant

Kimolia Moodley is an Insolvency Administrator.  She has gained years of experience in law firms as well as in insolvency firms.  She also handles the insolvency administration process from beginning to end under the guidance of the Insolvency Manager. She attends Creditors Meetings and liaises with the Master to track progress on all estates and ensures that all matters are proceeding along timeously.  In addition, she is responsible for the marketing and PR for the firm.
